The Indo-Pak Peace and Goodwill Network is an effort to build peace and goodwill between India and Pakistan initiated by Indians and Pakistanis living in the Diaspora. Our goal is to support and strengthen people-to-people peace efforts being initiated in both countries, to demonstrate the interest and commitment of those of us living in the Diaspora to peace efforts, and to engage key players in both countries in dialogue around how to best support efforts to encourage peace and dialogue between both countries. So far the network’s activities have included:

• A joint goodwill delegation that brought Indians and Pakistanis from the Diaspora back to meet with political leaders, civil society groups, and others to discuss and promote peace

• Local dialogues bringing together Indian and Pakistani communities in the Diaspora to discuss the role of the Diaspora in peace efforts

• Exploration of the development of a task force from the expatriate communities to focus on Indo-Pak peace issues
